My Commitment2026 Ward 9 Campaign — Archived
Skip to main contentA personal update
After a lot of thought, I have made the difficult decision to step away from actively campaigning for Ward 9 Councillor.
Recently, I have become quite sick, and alongside some unexpected personal circumstances, I need to prioritize my health and make some significant changes in my life. This is incredibly unfortunate for me because I entered this race genuinely wanting to give back to the neighbourhood I have called home for so many years.
I want to sincerely thank every Ward 9 resident who spoke with me, shared their concerns, supported me, or simply took the time to listen. I also wish all of the other candidates a successful remainder of their campaigns.
Above everything else, I hope residents remember that this is your neighbourhood and your voice. Stay involved, ask questions, and vote for the candidate you believe will listen to residents, remain accessible, understand everyday affordability concerns, and represent the community effectively.
Thank you, Ward 9, for allowing me to be part of this election and this community.

Important decisions shouldn't be difficult to understand or discover. Residents should know what Council is considering, how their councillor voted, and why.

Barrie will continue growing, but development should be matched by infrastructure, roads, services, parks, and responsible planning.
